In addition to Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, & 3G to ensure reliable data communication; GT-500 also comes equipped with worldwide modem capabilities over multiple frequency bands including 4G LTE bands. An integrated RFID reader & ultra slim 1D/2D barcode scanner allow users to accurately capture data in the warehouse or out in the field. Additional data can be collected from the multiple embedded sensors and modules as well. These sensors include everything from GPS to route/ track location, an Accelerometer/G-sensor that can measure shock/tilt, a light sensor to measure luminosity, and even a barometer that can provide altitude & atmospheric pressure.
Sealed to IP-67 standards and withstanding up to 1.5 m (5 ft) of multiple drops to concrete, the GT-500 is certified for use in hazardous environments thus providing resistance to both dust and water, and surviving constant shock and vibration.
