NEWS... BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
A home builder believes he may have the solution to the housing crisis – an amazing tiny property built on wheels on sale for £50K.
The unique property sits on a five-wheeled trailer with a wooden frame and metal exterior and has everything you would expect from a regular home.
Inside you’ll find a fully-functioning bathroom, two bedrooms, fully-wired electrics, a living room and a kitchen.
There’s the added benefit of not being tied down to one location. Because it is mounted on a trailer, it can be towed anywhere.
The ingenious property, located in Falmouth, Cornwall, is on sale for £50,000 – courtesy of Martin & Co.
Its creator believes homes such as this could solve the housing crisis, as currently record numbers of people in the UK are unable to afford to buy.
A description of the home online reads: ‘The Tiny House On Wheels is a locally made, unique and innovative housing solution.
“Built on top of a purpose built steel chassis for ease of transporting to its forever home, the Tiny House is ideal for additional guest accommodation, a den for teenagers, or even a work from home study!
‘Popular with buyers looking for an additional Air B & B type income, the Tiny House On Wheels can be parked on private land (subject to local planning consents) and mains Electrics and water hook up capability.
‘The Tiny House has everything you need for comfortable day to day living, with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom.
‘The Tiny House is both stylish and finished to a high specification and is to be sold complete with fixtures and fittings.’
Electrician Chris Metcalf spent more than a year building the home – which is advertised on Rightmove.
